Island Dive Sites:
St Ivan & St Peter Island:
St. Ivan Island is a natural reserve and is the biggest of all five islands along the Bulgarian coastline. A strait of several meters separates it from the "St. Peter" Island. Between them and the shore there were two other islands, called Milos and Gata, which are now underwater.
There are lots of ancient ruins on the island and about 72 species of birds breed here,3 of which are found in the Red book of endangered species. And if your lucky you may see the rare underground hare of a monk seal.
Diving here you can expect to see shoals of fish enjoying the natural shelter of the underwater cliffs which are carpeted with black mussels The depth ranges from 4-25 meters.

Snake Island (St Toma):
St Toma also known as Snake Island, is a small island found 400 meters off shore from Cape St. Tomas. It is located approximately 15 km south of Sozopol.
This island is also one of Bulgaria's many nature reserves and is where a botanist named Buresh planted a collection of cactI on the island in the 1920's.Since then the cacti have flourished and now cover the whole area of the island.
This is a beautiful location to dive and is abundant with underwater wildlife, which enjoy the relief of the islands protective cliffs .The depth range of this dive is between 4 - 12 meters.
