Dive Sites :
Petrified (Stone) Forest:
The Petrified Forest is located in the strip of sea between the Northern tip of the old town ins Sozopol and St Ivan island. It is situated 18-20 meters deep with a sandy bottom. It is thought that the forest existed here 70 million years and is a variety of swamp Cedar.
Diving this site is a truly unique experience which will leave you with a feeling of awe and thinking if there's a forest down here there must be more..........

The Fiords:
This is a grassy headland near Sozopol where in the 19th century the French consul in Bourgas excavated 10 Thracian burial mounds finding pottery from the 4th and 5th century B.C. which were then taken to the Louvre.
Over the years as the peninsula has been battered by the storms, the underwater coastline has receded in places to form steep sided coves which resemble the Norway Fiords. The range of this dive is between 5 to 20 meters.

St Stefan Cove:
This dive site situated near to the area known as Budjaka in Sozopol. It is an excellent dive site for all levels of diving.
Here you will find beautiful underwater cliffs, a massive anchor and see most of the species which inhabit the Blacksea.
The depth of this dive site ranges from 5-20 meters.
